About
Ronald Llewellyn Jones is a Texas-based multidisciplinary artist whose work in sculpture, film, and community engagement explores access, agency, and public space. His site-specific sculptures investigate how environments are navigated, often blending into their surroundings to create immersive experiences.
He has exhibited at institutions including the Art League Houston, Box13 Artspace, Diverseworks, Galveston Arts Center, Orange Show and Museum of Modern Art, Warsaw. He has participated in fellowship and residency programs at Atelier de la Nature, Awty International School, Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, and Sou’wester Artist-in-Residence. He is the founder of Sayers Gallery, a micro-residency supporting Houston-based muralists, and co-founder of Creatives for Asylum Seekers and Migrants (CASM), which raised funds for immigrant legal aid. His artistic and professional work has been featured in The New York Times, BBC News, Hyperallergic, and Houston Chronicle.
Jones is represented by Hooks-Epstein Galleries in Houston, Texas.
