[Be Still]

    [Be Still] is a series of videos that depict the impermanence of place within the construct of time. The videos utilize coordinates to identify spaces that express the thoughts of the past, are underutilized, have been become dilapidated, or have been recently demolished.

    Nothing lasts forever and many things we hold dear will not survive our lifetime. At some distant point in time, our memories will fade, slowly wiping the experiences from the planet.

    The weight of remembering, the weight of a shared human experience, at points exists in the space we consider communal. Whether it be a school stadium, sports complex, movie theater, county fair grounds, car dealership or the beach; the spaces where we can find each other, help shoulder the weight of remembering how far we have come, where we are and where we hope to find ourselves in the future.
