Creatives for Asylum Seekers and Migrants (CASM)
2019Creatives for Asylum Seekers and Migrants (CASM), is an organized activist effort established by a Houston-based collective of artists of various creative practices. CASM's mission is to utilize its collective resources to produce arts events that will benefit agencies that are providing resources such as legal aid, counseling, housing as well as various other needs. CASM is an earnest effort guided by careful research, dialogue with affected communities, agencies and organizations which are working in the best interests of individuals currently being held within detention centers in the state of Texas.
